A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the dog track looking to recover millions of dollars that were lost by gamblers playing illegal games. An Alabama state law allows customers to sue for money lost at illegal gambling; the Legislature makes it clear that people who offer illegal gambling cannot keep their ill-gotten means. The Birmingham Race Course's Internet Cafe had illegal slot machines for customers to play.
