Orkin Exterminating Co. Inc.

Class action status has been certified against the pest control company and its parent company, Rollins Corporation, in a lawsuit alleging forgery and fraud. The class includes thousands of Georgia homeowners with standard Orkin termite contracts dated from October 1995 who paid for services they did not receive. The suit claims Orkin did not get required county building permits for work done on some homes and accuses Orkin of forging and falsifying inspection tickets and improperly advertising that it could guarantee termite protection.
