Quiznos Sub

A statement of claim and proposed class action lawsuit has been filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against the submarine sandwich chain Quiznos. The claim has been filed on behalf of approximately 200 franchisee class members in Ontario who did not receive a franchise location after paying franchise fees. The claim alleges that Quiznos only gave franchisees 12 months to find appropriate retail space and if a location was not found within that time, fees and sales taxes were not refunded. Franchisees argue that 12 months is not a realistic amount of time to find a suitable location.
