Radisson Hotels International, Inc.

Hotel guests have filed a class action lawsuit against the company for allegedly violating the District of Columbia Consumer Protection Procedures Act. The lawsuit claims the Radisson made deceptive and misleading representations through its worldwide, internet based reservation system on the rates that would be charged at its hotel property in Moscow. On the internet, Radisson quotes rates in U.S. dollars, knowing that the final hotel bill will be paid in Russian rubles in amounts 18% higher than those calculated at the official exchange rate. The class includes all guests who stayed at Marriott's hotels in Moscow since June 3rd, 1999.
