|Class Period:||December 16, 1998 to October 10, 2002|
|Court:||Northern District, CA|

The Complaint alleges that defendants violated federal securities laws by issuing a series of material misrepresentations to the market during the Class Period, thereby artificially inflating the price of Solutia securities. Specifically, during the Class Period, the defendants caused the Company's stock to trade at artificially inflated levels through their control over Flexsys, a chemical supplier in which the Company had a 50% interest, by agreeing to charge prices at certain levels and to fix, increase, or maintain prices of rubber chemicals sold in the U.S.; by selling rubber chemicals at the agreed upon prices; and by inflating their profits via the above acts.
If you acquired the securities of Solutia, Inc. during the Class Period you may, no later than September 28, 2003, request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff through counsel of your choice. You may also choose to remain an absent class member. A lead plaintiff must meet certain requirements.
