Company: Tetra Tech, Inc.
Ticker Symbol: TTEK
Class Period: May-3-12 to Jun-18-13
Date Filed: Aug-2-13
Lead Plaintiff Deadline: Oct-1-13
Court: Central District of California
Allegations:
Los Angeles, CA: A securities class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of a class (the "Class") comprising all purchasers of the securities of Tetra Tech, Inc. ("Tetra Tech" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:TTEK) between May 3, 2012 and June 18, 2013, inclusive (the "Class Period").

Tetra Tech provides consulting, engineering, program management, construction management and technical services for environment, energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. In addition to state and local governments and private sector clients, the Company derives a significant portion of its revenues from federal agency clients, including the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Postal Service.

The Complaint alleges that the Company failed to take necessary charges to its accounts receivables and earnings to reflect a significant number of projects which were subject to claims and equitable charges by federal and state government clients, and issued materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company's business, operational and compliance policies. Moreover, throughout the Class Period the Company failed to inform investors the extent to which Tetra Tech's revenues would be impacted by an overall decline in the Eastern Canadian mining and oil industry resulting from large political and economic unrest in the region.

If you acquired the securities of the defendants during the Class Period you may, no later than the Lead Plaintiff Deadline shown above, request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff through counsel of your choice. You may also choose to remain an absent class member. A lead plaintiff must meet certain requirements.

In 2012 Tetra Tech faked clean soil samples at the San Francisco Shipyard site for the benefit of FivePoint Holdings LLC. The question is: how was Tetra Tech hired and why did it just make up soil contamination testing results?

There have been so many contracting scandals out of San Francisco that this may go deeper than securities fraud.
