Acxiom Corp. Class Action Dismissed

Arkansas: A civil action was filed on behalf of millions of consumers whose personal identification was exposed by a security breach in 2003. The owner of the now defunct company Snipermail.com stole 1.6 billion Acxiom data records. US District Judge Bill Wilson Jr. dismissed the class action lawsuit because plaintiffs did not prove any of the misuse of their records would warrant damages being sought.
