Customers filed a class action lawsuit against the bank for allegedly not giving them enough notice regarding merger related changes involving fees and minimum balance requirements. The financial institution was purchased five years ago by the former Fleet National Bank, which in turn was acquired by Bank of America Corp. last year. Bank of America has agreed to pay up to $12.5 million to customers who file a claim form to recuperate $25 a piece. (Aug-29-05) [JOURNAL NOW]

A merger tool place between a company called Frontier and Verzon after signing a two year contract disrupted services and no notification of merger! or fee changes services interrupted. chamnels not wprking and number fron Verizon not working.Payment accepted after merger.
