A tentative settlement has been reached in the sexual discrimination class action lawsuit filed on behalf of 28,000 current and former workers. The suit was filed in February 2000 by female workers in the Puget Sound region who alleged that the company had saved hundreds of millions of dollars since the mid-1990s by paying female employees less than their male counterparts.
