Cingular Wireless, Verizon Communications Inc., Sprint Nextel Corp., and T-Mobile USA Antitrust Class Action Dismissed

Several antitrust lawsuits claimed the four mobile phone companies illegally forced customers to purchase phones that only worked on their own networks. A U.S. District Judge dismissed the potential class action based on insignificant evidence. (Aug-31-05)
