Over 200 low wage laundry workers in San Leandro filed a class action lawsuit against the uniform rental company for allegedly violating a living wage ordinance. Workers who washed and sorted uniforms, towels, and mats between 1999 and 2003 at the San Leandro and Union City plants may be included in the class. Cintas has agreed to pay the workers a $1 million class action settlement. (Oct-02-05)
