In 1997 a class action lawsuit was filed against the school for allegations of tax fraud. The board of trustees has voted to offer $603,342 to settle the Benton County Amendment 59 lawsuit. Benton County taxpayers sued the school for a rollback of mileage rates and refunded taxes and were seeking $9.9 million. (Mar-30-05)
