De Beers

United States consumers filed a class action lawsuit against the world's largest diamond company claiming they fixed the price of gems from 1994 to 2005. The class includes all those who purchased diamonds over the past 11 years. De Beers agreed to comply with U.S. antitrust laws and is set to pay consumers a $250 million class action settlement.
