Electronic Arts

California software engineers filed a class action lawsuit against the video game publisher alleging unpaid overtime. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of programmers at various levels who worked at Electronic Arts between February 14, 2001 and February 14, 2006. Under the settlement, entry level programmers will be reclassified as hourly workers, making them eligible for overtime pay. The San Mateo County Superior Court awarded employees a $14.9 million class action settlement. (Apr-26-06) [SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS]
