A class action lawsuit was filed against the online DVD rental company on behalf of current and former customers. The lawsuit claimed Netflix tricked potential customers by advertising "unlimited" DVD rentals and "one day delivery." The terms of the class action settlement provide current Netflix subscribers with an upgrade to 4 DVDs at a time for one month. Former customers who were Netflix members prior to January 15, 2005 will receive a free month of service if they subscribe to Netflix once again. (Nov-02-05)
