A class action lawsuit has been settled against the drug companies for improperly monopolizing the US market. The class claimed the companies prevented them from access to low-cost, generic equivalents of Remeron. The antitrust settlement will award $36 million to Nebraska consumers who purchased the prescription antidepressant Remeron. (Mar-18-05)
