City of Seattle



Four city workers filed a class action lawsuit against the city claiming they were improperly denied benefits. From 1996 to 2005, nearly 2,000 workers were classified as 'temporary' and denied employee benefits given to full time workers. The city has agreed to pay an $11.5 million class action settlement.
