A class action lawsuit brought against Utah County officials for illegal search and seizure has been dismissed. In August 2005, sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement officers broke up a 'rave' party on private property and arrested several partygoers for assaulting a police officer, possession of illegal drugs and disorderly conduct. The plaintiffs asked that the lawsuit be dismissed so they could have more time to organize the lawsuit. The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice and cannot be re-filed. (Jun-28-06)

Did Utah pass a bill for Police to stop you for no reason and search your car? Is it NOW legal in Utah for a cop to search your car without probable cause?
