A federal judge has approved the settlement in a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of the poor and elderly. The settlement will save tens of millions of dollars a year for the TennCare health care program for the poor, uninsured and uninsurable. There is still one class action lawsuit remaining against the state, and it has been promised approval of the proposed settlement by the ruling judge. (Oct-08-03)
