Mount Laurel residents of the Holiday East Village filed a class action lawsuit against the developer alleging their utility rooms do not provide enough ventilation to safely operate a gas furnace, water heater, or clothes dryer. Over 500 homes in the age restricted community are involved. Hovnanian & Sons have agreed to settlement terms where they will pay for carbon monoxide inspections and supply additional ventilation or install a louvered door if needed. (Dec-03-05)
