An $88 million settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of 170,000 customers. The suit alleged that the company's unit Verizon California, previously known as GTE California, earned tens of millions of dollars by continuing to charge the plaintiffs for obsolete telephones they no longer possessed. I have 6 months of bills with overcharges from 300 to 1300.00 a month. I closed the account and still get a bill for 2500.00! I need help and am willing to invest time in lawsuit to reclaim my money and hopefully keep others from having to go through this.
