Hoffmann-Laroche, BASF, Rhone-Poulenc, and Lonza



A class action lawsuit was filed against the vitamin manufacturers for allegedly increasing the price of vitamins and various products including milk, cereals, shampoo, and creams. The companies agreed to a $130 million settlement; the money will be divided between Montreal local non-profit organizations and companies that bought the vitamins for their products. (Nov-08-05)
