Class action plaintiffs from Jackson County have been awarded a settlement totaling $425,000. On June 7, 2000, an underground valve at a fuel storage facility burst and leaked approximately 72,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline. The fuel seeped into the groundwater and a county drain.
